The real-life Rose Apothecary from Schitt’s Creek.

Beekman 1802 is a lifestyle brand founded by Dr. Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcell. In 2008, they left their big city life and decamped to the Beekman farm in rural Sharon Springs, NY. There they took in a neighboring farmer, his herd of goats, and created skincare products using goat milk fresh from the farm. I worked directly with their creative and marketing teams to produce video concepts and scripts, as well as write product descriptions and in-store display copy.

I wrote scripts to help Beekman 1802 celebrate International Women’s Day 2020 when the theme was #EachForEqual. While production had to get scrappy, tagging onto a product shoot, Beekman’s team was able to convey a positive message that resonated well with customers.
